Defensively she gets after it picking up a few steals in the first few minutes and tracking down rebound. She could really improve that help-side defense and she is going to be a big time defender that will get stops and rack up defensive boards and steals. Overall she has a smooth game and a very fluid shot with great mechanics. In just two games she has proven her ability and that ability is for real. Still can't say enough about her high level defense, once she stops reaching she is going to get even more steeals because her pressure will cause that. She got game and has the ability to play at the next level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='773065' first='Brianna' last='Badonie'] || Bingham High School || 2024 ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Way to get things started as she goes off for a 26 piece and she did it all over the floor. Impressive part is that she did show how relentless she can be out there and if you leave her open, oh boy she will make you pay. Badonie went off for 26 points in a win. If this is how she is coimung out of the gate it is going to be an exciting year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='772862' first='Addy' last='Scrivner'] || Lehi High School || 2024 ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the best shooters that can walk into shots, especially when teams do not pick her up higher. Very smart player that can take the ball from one side of the floor to the other attacking that outside shoulder and getting to the rim on a a rip and go. Then you factor in that she can finish around the rim in various ways. Good size, strength and combination of athleticism. She can absolutely put the ball in the hole. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='772868' first='Ellie' last='Taylor'] || Copper Hills High School || 2024 ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This girl is an absolute baller, probably the best hooper in the school right now. She is already zeroing in on 1,000 points and she is a force. The great thing about her game is that she can do it, inside and out. She can shoot and she can attack. Pick your poison with her because she will find a way. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Shooters</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='773321' first='Shelby' last='Uliberri'] || Herriman High School || 2024 ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Shelby is locked and loaded and while she has some teammates that attack and get penetration she is a solid option out beyond the arc. Great balance when she gets set on her shots. In broken plays you need to locate her because she will get you. To add to her shooting ability she pressures the ball well and that helps her team rally to the ball or get steals on her on ball defense. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='808149' first='Mia' last='Johnson'] || Skyline High School || 2026 ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Not only is she a good shooter out beyond the arc she can hit those mid-range jumpers. She is always out in the perimeter just looking for her time to shoot. She could be a sneaky good player for Skyline as the search for help on the offensive end. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kennedy Brown || Herriman High School ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A player that allows the game to come to her. Nailed a smooth three at the top of the arc as she was waiting patiently for the pass, she caught it shot ready and made it rain. She has some size so she rebounds well and defends well. Kennedy has an all-around game that keeps her on the floor at all times. She really is an impact player. You might not see everything she does on teh stat sheet but she is a solid piece to the puzzle. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='773329' first='Calli' last='Condie'] || American Fork High School || 2024 ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When it comes to shooting Calli might just be one of the best shooters in the state. She went crazy last night scoring 27 points and hitting 7 three-pointers. Talk about a player that will be an automatic zone buster. Watch out for AF. It would not be crazy if she gets in the 1,000 point club. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Smooth Around the Rim</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Baya Burge || Herriman High School || </strong>2024</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Baya has that down-hill dribbling that gets her into the lanes and she is able to create for herself. Soft touch around the rim which helps her finish through pressure. At times she puts her head down and can plow through the defense and at times playes just get out of her way. She is a solid piece over at Herriman. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='773339' first='Cami' last='Groberg'] || Skyline High School ||</strong> 2024</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cleans up anything around the rim, you need to box her out. She is only about 5'9 but she plays a lot bigger. Her ability in two games to just clean things up is notable.
