2024 Rankings: Special Players in the 30s

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In this article we look at some of the prospects ranked in the 30s.&nbsp; These players are good enough to be ranked in the 20s but we ran out of ranking positions.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='217663' first='Sydney' last='Roundtree'] has stayed true to&nbsp;her game since she was playing at Landon middle school.&nbsp; She has gotten better every year and just played to her strengths on the basketball court.&nbsp; She is athletic,&nbsp; she can rebound, defend,&nbsp; and get buckets without a single play being run for her.&nbsp; She has a high basketball IQ and an offense can run through her and have her make the correct basketball play.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='214172' first='Beckham' last='Hockley'] is a player that checks a lot of the intangible boxes, in addition to the boxes on the court.  Hockley is a a leader on the court and can definitely fill it up.  The thought that comes to mind is from a live tournament after her Sophomore season.  The team lost a point guard and Hockley stepped in and ran the point and continued scoring the ball,   breaking the press,  and leading her team.  Hockley has been tearing it up this season and reaching some milestones in process: reaching her 1000th point and more significantly,  committing to play college basketball. Hockley is currently averaging 22.2 points per game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='221699' first='Kennedy' last='McClain'] is shooting the rock and averaging 13.5 points per game and 6 points rebounds.&nbsp;The versatile McClain can score at all levels on the court and she can be a nightmare matchup at the guard position due to her size.&nbsp; McClain has connected on 22 threes for the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='217669' first='Jade' last='Leon'] has played well this season and she is ranked in the 30s for a reason.&nbsp; She is a player who checks a lot of boxes and shows up in a lot of categories.&nbsp; In the scoring category she currently averages 11.6 points per game and she also posts a good rebound number of right at 7 rebounds per game.&nbsp; Leon has also knocked down 11 threes for the season.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='221678' first='Kamryn' last='Corporan'] is a highly skilled prospect ranked in the 30s of a draft that has nearly 400 players in the rankings. Corporan can get to the rim and does so with a a lot of skill.&nbsp; She is a special player in the transition and has great handles and great change of direction abilities.&nbsp; She is also a very good defender who applies great on ball pressure and can play in the passing lanes.&nbsp; Corporan can also shoot the three and score in the midrange area. I saw her at Inside Exposure in Jacksonville and she was an impressive player.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='244210' first='Tamara' last='Elliott'] is one serious baller and comes in ranked in the 30s.&nbsp; She was special at the&nbsp; ENG Power Showcase and one of the best players in the room.&nbsp; She is also one of the top guards and playmakers in the State.&nbsp; Elliott can shoot it,&nbsp; dish it,&nbsp; and is special on all ends of the court.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
