Both teams have had success this season, and Chelsea, who is undefeated, has looked like one of the best teams in the state. Chelsea ended up taking down Mountain Brook yet again by a score of 48-42.

Caroline Brown lead the way offensively on the night. Brown finished with 16 points. Brown’s performance was the difference maker. Brown scored from a plethora of spots on the floor, and gave Mountain Brook matchup problems all night long.
Haley Trotter Haley Trotter 5’11” | PF Chelsea | 2025 State AL is a handful who requires a defenses full engagement and attention. Trotter is able to attack relentlessly, and get downhill. Trotter finished with 12 points, and di a really good job on the defensive end. Trotters ability to get Chelsea a good shot on almost every possession is extremely valuable.

Libby Geisler Libby Geisler 5’7″ | SG Mountain Brook | 2025 State AL played better in the second matchup then she did in the first. This came as no surprise as Geisler is one of the elite guards in the state. Geisler finished with 12 points, and did a good job of orchestrating Mountain Brook’s offense while receiving a lot of attention defensively.

Maddie Walter made her presence know down low. Walter scored 10 points against the Hornets. Walter has good footwork, and touch around the rim. Walter had a couple of buckets that kept Mountain Brook in it late.

Ellie Halpern is a good shooter with great shot mechanics. Ellie finished with 8 points including a couple of 3s. Halpern does a wonderful job of moving and relocating out on the arc.
