Knows how to get to the basket, connects from the line, and forces turnovers with her strong D and length. She is a double- double machine, and she does it while opponents throw mulitple defenders on her. She’s got my MVP vote! (Featured Photo)
Alec Rothe- 2024, Dublin Scioto: I love Rothe’s enthusiasm, and the joy she shows on the court! Alec, who has committed to play volleyball for the Florida Gators, is a nationally well known middle blocker and part of the Girls U19 National Team. Rothe knows a thing or two about basketball as well! Fantastic blocker and rebounder, and uses the glass very well in the paint. (Below with ball)
Gracie Cosgrove Gracie Cosgrove 5'9" | CG Stephen T. Badin | 2025 State OH – 2025, Badin: Cosgrove certainly knows how to put on a clinic with her three ball! Very difficult assignment for opponents to contain her, because she is a walking bucket! Pull up jumpers, spin moves to the basket, and very quick shooting release that reminds me of Caitlin Clark- outstanding muscle memory! And defensively, she reads passes so well, resulting in steals and transition buckets. Gracie’s Got Game!
Elle Mortimer- 2027, Granville: College coaches, this 6’0 freshman is a force, with such a high ceiling! She is playing with veteran players and fitting in so well, particularly in how she runs the floor, more than holding her own at the varsity level, grabbing boards, protects the basket with her athleticism and length, and she knows how to get the ball through the net!
Aliyah Moore Aliyah Moore 5'6" | PG Granville | 2024 OH – 2024, Granville: Moore, who is taking her sharp shooting skills to Otterbein University next fall, is having herself a terrific senior year! She’s one of the best 3 point specialists in Ohio, and recently broke the school’s record with 184 three’s made! She also holds Granville’s single game record with 7, and single season with 75. Outstanding handles, great defender, and she’s going to keep doing damage at the next level!
