A dominating force in the paint, Bofia was unstoppable in the low post. She scored, rebounded and blocked shots. Her offensive game showed signs of improvement, and her defense was outstanding, as usual. The top 2026 player in the state.
Dominique Nesland Dominique Nesland 5'10" | PG Xavier College Prep | 2024 State AZ Xavier
Dom ran the show as well as a point guard against the defensive pressure of Desert Vista. She made sure that she spread the ball around on offense and attacked when there were opportunities for herself.
Shay Ijiwoye Shay Ijiwoye 5'6" | PG Desert Vista | 2024 State AZ Desert Vista
Even though Shay’s perimeter shots weren’t falling as she’s accustomed to, she still left her imprint on the game. She led her team in rebounds and assists and led by example with her effort and fight.
Jasmine Olivar Jasmine Olivar 5'6" | SG Xavier College Prep | 2024 State AZ Xavier
Olivar might have been the difference as the senior guard quietly knocked down shot after shot. She picked her spots and showed why she’s among the better shooters in the state.
Dylan Swindle Dylan Swindle 5'6" | PG Desert Vista | 2025 State AZ Desert Vista
Dylan’s hot shooting kept Desert Vista in the game despite her teammate’s shooting woes. The junior guard hit perimeter shots from different spots with defenders all over her.
Sarah Nakamura Miller Sarah Nakamura Miller 5'11" | SG Xavier College Prep | 2024 State AZ Xavier
Miller started off slow, but once she got going, she was a major force in the Xavier win. She used her strength to get in the lane and draw contact. She hit some clutch shots and free throws near the end to help hold off the Thunder.
