Aniya Hooker Aniya Hooker 5'9" | CG Lynnwood | 2024 State WA – ’24 – Lynnwood HS
Aniya has been very impressive during the last couple seasons. Her game has gotten better each and every year, even improving a great amount just over the off-season. She scores at all 3 levels nicely and is unselfish on the court, in fact it seems like she enjoys watching her teammates succeed more. Hooker will soon reach 1,000 points scored, which is an impressive milestone. She dropped 18 points, 8 assists, and had 4 steals against Bothell.
Mikah Hammerquist Mikah Hammerquist 5'4" | PG North Creek | 2024 State WA – ’24 – North Creek HS
Mikah is an absolute SHOOTER. She is very impressive on the court, having a well rounded game. She handles the ball nicely, gets to the rim effectively, but her deep shot stands out the most. She has light it up on any given night. She’s active on defense too, causing a lot of havoc and creating many turnovers. In her game against Mount Tahoma, she tied the school record (also was her own) with 9 three pointers sank. She finished with 29 points, 6 assists, and 6 steals on the night.
Regan Brewer Regan Brewer 5'4" | PG Tumwater | 2024 State WA – ’24 – Tumwater HS
Regan’s perfromance in this game against Washougal has gone unnoticed a little too much, in my opinion. Regan is coming back from an ACL tear, which can and does ruin a lot of athletes playing careers. She did not let that happen to her. She pushed through 8 months of pain, rehab, and a ton of work in the gym to get back on the court for varsity game action. She lead Tumwater to the win, dropping 36 points, 14 rebounds, and 7 assists. She is going to have a great senior year.
Azy Jackson Azy Jackson 6'2" | PF Bonney Lake | 2027 WA – ’27 – Bonney Lake HS
When I first watched Jackson’s highlights over the summer, I would have never guessed she was a current freshman. She plays YEARS above her age on the court and it is extremely impressive/fun to watch. She is 6’3″ already but she is a phenomenal at handling the ball and being the point guard of the team. Given her size, she can play many different positions on the court. If she continues to line up at the PG position, there will be many mismatches upcoming. She broke the Bonney Lake school record for assists in a single game with 10 against Enumclaw.
Jazmyn Shipp Jazmyn Shipp 6'0" | PF Bonney Lake | 2024 State WA – ’24 – Bonney Lake HS
Now we shift over to one of Azariah’s teammates, Jazmyn. Jazmyn is the leader of this team and she does a phenomenal job at it. It is very apparent and obvious that all of her teammates trust her decisions/guidance on the court. She is dominate down low, being able to finish around the rim with a soft touch but also bully opposing players to grab the rebound. Against Enumclaw, she had a game high 28 points.
