Jazmyn has been a stable for Bonney Lake over the past couple seasons and has played so well for the school, earning 3A PCL player of the year last season. She has always played with toughness and physicality, out-rebounding her opposing players often. She scores the ball smoothly on offense too, having a great touch in the paint and knocking down jumpers well. She averaged 15 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game last season as a senior.

Jazmyn provided toughness and rebounding. She knows how to establish position in the post. She doesn’t force what is not there. She will kick it back out to the perimeter. She does get to the basket with her strength and can finish with either hand. She had a nice lefty finish off of a strong move in the post. A smart player who knows her role and plays it well. She is a double double player during the high school season. She does what is needed for a Way To Win. rn

Jazmyn is a force in the paint, she averaged 17 points and 12 rebounds per game this season. She has a soft touch from the high post and can also get herself to the basket with a couple dribbles, good footwork, and some creative shots. She is best from the elbow in shooting it, although she did make a few threes. She passes well out of the post. She blocks shots, and commands the ball as you should in the post. She can get it at the high post and go to work, scoring the basketball. She will be a prospect to watch next season.

How do you think your team and yourself performed throughout this season?rn-I feel like my team performed really well this year, especially considering how we lost a starter last year who was crucial to our team, it was great working together with no drama to make the playoffs. I think I performed fairly well, I had more fun this season than I did last year.
What was the biggest obstacle you and your team faced this season?rn-The biggest obstacle that my team had to face this season in my opinion was losing one of our teammates this season to a knee injury. She was a hustle player who always benefitted the team by being on the floor and doing what others didn’t want to do.
What do you think you improved most on the court?rn-On the court, I think I most improved on my shooting farther from the rim, as well as my leadership and knowing how others received input.
What are you looking to improve before next season?rn-One thing I’m looking to improve on in this school offseason is my quickness, along with ball handling and continuing to grow in my outside shooting. I also would love to be able to play some more guard next season, and would love to sharpen those skills as well.
Who are some teammates that you think stood out this season?rn-Some teammates that I think stood out this season are two of our seniors, Ava Bailey and Emma Moore Emma Moore 5'8" | CG Bonney Lake | 2024 WA .
Who are some teammates who could have breakout years next year in your eyes?rn-2 teammates that I believe could have a breakout season next year are Center Ava Rice and one of our key shooters Evin Elias.

Jazmyn has gone under the radar quite a bit in my eyes. She’s a dominant force on the glass, rebounding the ball very well. She also has a plethora of post moves she can use down low, leading to effective shots and buckets. Against Bethell, she scored 11 points and pulled down a huge 17 rebounds.

Jazmyn is a well rounded player. She rebounds the ball VERY well, knowing how to use her body in the paint. Her post work down low is extremely impressive as well as there aren’t many girls who can guard her down in the paint. She should be ranked within the class. Against Spannaway Lake, she had 18 points, 14 rebounds, and 8 assists on the game.
