The third edition of “Glass Cleaners” this week looks at athletes from the Class of 2025 averaging nine or more rebounds per contest early in the season. Two of those play for Stanton County and Ingalls small schools in Western Kansas.

Avery Scott Avery Scott 6'0" | C Stanton County | 2026 State KS , 6’1”, G/F, Stanton County, ‘26
Scott has a basketball frame. She has a big reach and a long stride. She is averaging 12.8 rebounds a game through four games played. She is also averaging 15.3 points per contest. The Trojan sophomore averaged a double-double during her freshman season scoring 13.2 points and grabbing 11.9 rebounds per game.
Olivia Stein Olivia Stein 6'0" | PF Ingalls | 2026 State KS , 6’0”, PF, Ingalls, ‘26
Stein can rock it on both basketball and volleyball courts. She uses her vertical and long arms to outrebound taller and slower posts. In five games played this season she is averaging a double-double with 11. 2 rebounds and 14.4 points per game. She is also an accomplished outside hitter for Ingalls’ volleyball team.
Shamari Lewis Shamari Lewis 6'0" | PF Liberal | 2026 State KS , 5’10”, SG/SF, Liberal, ‘26
Lewis is a versatile player who can play multiple positions. Through four games she is having a major impact for the Redskins on both ends of the court. She is currently averaging 10 rebounds per game, 11 points per game, and four steals per contest. Lewis is quick and relentless on defense. One would think she was the Baskervilles the way she hounds the ball.
Maggie Neill, 5’8”, F, Classical, ‘25
The Classical Saints have a smooth solid defensive-minded forward in Neill. In five games played this season she is averaging 9.8 rebounds. She has been holding opponents to just one shot on possessions averaging seven boards per game on the defensive end of the court.
Kayte Shively Kayte Shively 5'8" | SF Rallins County | 2026 State KS , 5’8”, PF, Rawlins County, ‘25
Shively is just short of averaging a double-double in the first four games of the season. She has scored 10 points per game and is averaging 9.8 rebounds per contest.
