We were able to see Cooper Flag this year and a few years ago Hansel Emmanuel put a kid on a poster in Texas. Having a girl giggle when she sees that her opponent is in a box and one right off the bat is crazy. Little did we know she had something in her bag. Let’s take a look at the Holiday Hoopfest standouts over here at Lehi High School, Utah.
Aaliyah was legit getting face guarded the entire game and she saw not just double teams or triple teams, there were occasions when she had 4 players on her trying to stop her. I have never seen anything like that, not even on the boys side. She has the ability to manipulate the ball in a way that is just different. Her range and precision is unreal. She was 6-6 from beyond the arc at one time and finished with 33 points and beat one of the best teams in Utah. With various college coaches in attendance and a semi full house everyone got their moneys worth.
Highlights
Katy Lawrence Katy Lawrence 5’8″ | CG Lone Peak | 2025 State UT had herself a coming out party of sort. Lawrence was making some big buckets from beyond the arc and she was making them in various ways. She was hitting off the bounce and she was making the catch and shoot ones and off of the move she was catching loaded and ready to shoot. Teams have been able to run her off teh line but she is able to make a quick move to the rim and she is getting buckets in the paint with that soft touch and tough finish. She will make her debut in the 2025 rankings and make a big move closer to the top.
A lot of people come to watch The Chavez show and they get a treat as they also get to watch Ambrosia Cole Ambrosia Cole 5’5″ | CG Lubbock Monterrey | 2026 State TX do her thing. She has a shifty handle and that right to left with a little bit of a hesitation cross really gets her space. She can hit those step-back three’s and she can also carve her way into the lane. If she does not get into the lane and finish point blank she can rely on a nice floater. Crazy to think how much skills she has and she is only a 2026.
Being able to hold your own against some of the best in the country is what you want to see from the local talent and Addy was a player that was doing just that for Lehi. In a game that really didn’t mean anything she was able to show that she could score with the best of them. Keep an eye on her moving forward as she is going to make Lehi tough to beat.
Caffey has a few offers under her belt and for obvious reason as she is one of the best guards in the Class of 2025. She is a physical downhill lead guard and she asserted herself quickly and her mid-range game was elite. 22 points and she was just too much to deal with.
