Mount Mansfield's inside/out wings have been on a tear as of late, as have a number of other high-level players around the 802. Check out who's showing out in VT!

[player_tooltip player_id='446539' first='Sydney' last='Perry'], 6'0 F - Windsor H.S. Class of 2024

Perry is putting up those big-time numbers as anticipated. Against a top D3 team in Thetford, Sydney listed 15 points, eight rebounds and a formidable three blocks in a win. Then came the Connecticut Valley Classic Tournament where she went to work. Perry cooked, posting a 20-19 game and following it up with a 21-20 game. The interior powerhouse collected all-tournament team honors and has found her rhythm heading into the new year.

[player_tooltip player_id='645777' first='Bella' last='Schultz Mitchell'], 5'10 W - Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2025

Being one of those players who's multi-positional, I decided to drop Bella in the wing category. Her game oscillates between being an initiator and being a scoring wing threat, which has shone so bright lately. She's averaged 16 ppg. over the last three contests, posting a strong 18 points down in Rutland. With her sharpshooting off the catch and tough drives against hard closeouts, Bella has been a tough one to pin down defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='649624' first='Brianna' last='Brownell'], 5'9 W - Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2024

I won't be surprised if Bri averages a double-double on the year. Brownell put up 12 points, 13 boards and five blocks just over a week ago, and she brought the grit down to Rutland with her nine-point, 12 rebound performance. Her 3-ball has been sighted in and her hustle work never wavers. Plus, her versatility on the defensive end as a multi-positional defender and rabid rebounder has been obvious. So tough.

[player_tooltip player_id='975815' first='Maysa' last='Long'], 5'11 F - Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2027

The freshman doesn't play like a freshman! Maysa has taken her first Varsity campaign by storm, logging a double-double or a near double-double every game. Her finest work came in MMU's Holiday Tournament, where she put together a 16-13 game. In the tourney opener she posted 8-10, and just recently in a win against Rutland she posted another 8-10 line. Long's relentless rebounding on both ends is quickly apparent, and it consistently bolsters her scoring numbers. Maysa takes no plays off and her court awareness is excellent.

[player_tooltip player_id='446538' first='Samara' last='Ashooh'], 6'1 F - Champlain Valley Union H.S. Class of 2024

Samara has been quite steady to open the season. The Smith College commit sparked the 23-24 season with a 15-8 performance, and she most recently posted a 15-10 game against a solid Kingston, NY team. Ashooh's poised inside presence and sharpened 3-ball has made her a more versatile offensive threat, which has surely opened up her passing lanes to distribute. A consistent rim protector and rebounder, Ashooh is finding her groove.

Quinn Nelson, 5'11 F - Harwood Union H.S. Class of 2024

Harwood is solidifying themselves as a top tier D2 team and Quinn has been vital to the cause. Nelson opened the year with three straight double-doubles, most recently posting a 14-15 game in a win against Mississquoi. She followed that up with a near double-double, posting eight points, 10 rebounds, six steals and three blocks against U-32. The strong, long forward has a nonstop motor and defensive grit that holds it down inside for Harwood. She'll be a problem for all of D2.
