Airport was incredibly impressive in a recent win and Baker played a key role in the team’s success. She has a knock down jumper that can really be a momentum grabber. Baker had a couple triples in the win. She also showed that she was willing to sacrifice and win hustle points by hitting the floor for a steal or a loose ball.

Williams impressed on both ends when I saw her play. She was the team’s leading scorer in the game with 11 poins, but that doesn’t tell the full story. Williams game started on the defensive end. On multiple occasions, it was her defense that led directly to her offense. Williams used quick hands to snag a steal, take it coast to coast, and finish off 2 feet.
Starkey was lights out in a recent Grass Lake victory. She showed tremendous versatility on the offensive end of the floor, scoring in a variety of ways. Starkey scored from the line, off hard cuts to the rim and multiple 3 pointers. She showed off some impressive speed down the floor, both with and without the ball, that led to fast break buckets. Starkey even once shrugged off a screen and drove to the rim for a layup.

Olivet lost a hard fought game against a high quality team and Priesman stood out in the process. She was very active around the basket and showed a nose for the ball. This helped her pick up some good looks at the rim. Priesman scored off a put back, from the free throw line and even scooped up a loose ball that led to a layup.
Gratz is a very impressive player and prospect. The speed of her game and at which she can effectively play is much more impressive in live action. Gratz showed that she can defend the full length of the floor and use her defensive vision and foot speed to create issues for her opponents. She really sees the ball and reads the action on that end. Offensively, I was impressed with how Gratz could shoot over top of a closeout.
