[player_tooltip player_id='975815' first='Maysa' last='Long'], 5'11 F - Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2027

The most impactful player at the tournament, [player_tooltip player_id='975815' first='Maysa' last='Long']. Not only did she contribute 16-points, tied for the game-high in the championship matchup, but she also collected a whopping 13 boards in the final, going for 23 boards total between the two games. Her motor is top tier as is her spacing and awareness around the basket. Physical, smart, and unrelenting, Maysa is clicking right now.

[player_tooltip player_id='645675' first='Meghan' last='Thompson'], 5'9 G - Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2025

Shooter! Meghan put up 19 off of five threes in the opening round, then followed it up with 16 in the championship. Her shooting came off of spot-ups and pull-ups, didn't seem to matter, and her slashing really began to fruit in the championship round as she finished lays and floaters. Thompson has that microwave ability for sure.

[player_tooltip player_id='645601' first='Sabine' last='Brueck'], 5'8 G - North Country Union H.S. Class of 2025

I've got Sabine down as the peskiest player in the tournament. Brueck did it all; she's an excellent rebounder from the perimeter, collecting upwards of five boards a game, probably more. Furthermore, she hounded ballhandlers, disrupted passing lanes, and made plays in the open court. Her halfcourt orchestration kept NCU afloat in the championship, putting together 11 points and distributing to others. Tough two-way work.

[player_tooltip player_id='649636' first='Julia' last='Decker'], 5'9 G - Burr and Burton Academy Class of 2024

Decker can serve up the dimes! Julia is my favorite passer out of the bunch. She fed teammates with lovely passes each game, providing solid looks and hockey assists by striking the domino effect as defenses scrambled to rotate and eventually gave up a good look. BBA struggled to score in game two, but Julia kept that same poised demeanor and worked through it. Love her approach.

[player_tooltip player_id='446535' first='Breya' last='Montague'], 5'9 G - Essex H.S. Class of 2024

With Breya we have a pure PG and a top distributor at the facilitator. Montague's orchestration on both ends kept EHS on the same page, stitching together their offensive and defensive cause. Her 15-points in the consolation matchup bolstered EHS' offense as did her constant hawking of the ball on the defensive side. A fierce competitor who plays to the final whistle.
