Parson, a softball standout with a 4.1 GPA, has emerged this season as Union Grove’s starting wing. Parson provides physicality and toughness. She can shoot the three and will throw her weight around to bang for rebounds. Alexis tallied 5 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals against Hillgrove.
Frances Anyakudo
Frances Anyakudo
Anyakudo is a rugged interior presence that carves out space while rebounding. Frances excels at rebounding in traffic and plays bigger than her listed height. She battled for 6 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block vs. Buford.
Space-eating post does a great job clogging the lane and using her elite size to wall up and block shots. Chassity can be effective on the offensive glass and helps limits opponents’ second chances. She had 2 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 4 blocks in a win over Newton.
Highlights
Lander is showing interest after watching McIntosh collect 7 points, 12 rebounds and 1 block against Galloway. India has a powerful frame. She’s a physical rebounder that can score through contact.
Foul trouble hurt Potter in the second half but she still posted 9 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block. Johanna scored with a left-handed hook, an And-1 drive from the high post, a spin into a baseline fadeaway and ran the floor for a hoop.
