Keyarra Scottland has show herself to be one of the most capable scorers in the state. Scottland finished with 18 points on the night. Scottland is able to go and get a bucket on all three levels seemingly whenever she wants.
Mattie Machen Mattie Machen 6’1″ | PF Mortimer Jordan | 2026 AL was possibly the difference maker in Mortimer Jordan’s victory. Machen finished with 14 points and 7 boards. Machen’s length and size created nightmares for Clements. Machen was able to finish at the rim with more ease than anyone out on the floor.
Highlights
Kendra Davis Kendra Davis 5’5″ | CG Mortimer Jordan | 2025 State AL had 10 points against Clements. Davis is a scoring guard/wing through and through. Davis didn’t have her most efficient game, but she still more than contributed to Mortimer Jordan’s victory.
Corrin Burnette is a leader. Burnette does what is required to win. Burnette finished with 9 points but was a constant source of energy out on the floor. Burnette is a very high IQ basketball player.

Kaylani Scottland is only in 8th grade, and is able to have an impact on varsity games. Kaylani flashes some of the same tendencies as her older sister, Keyarra. Kaylani has extreme potential, and is already a gifted athlete at her young age.
