Fun fact, Stacey Marshall is the head coach and mother of one set, who I knew before they were born, while Steve Walton is an assistant coach and father of the other set whom I have been watching since my hair was almost all black as they watched their older sister Elizabeth, and both coaches played at the next level, so here you go

Marshall went completely off and I was wondering how I missed her yet one thing I constantly tell others to do is to USE THE SEARCH BAR and after I did, it all came back. She’s more explosive off the dribble in the set as well as in transition and her strong finishes after contact was nice, yet so was her showing the “catch and shoot” and dropping it from deep. She also did a good job defending “on the ball” and her quick hands enabled her to get some steals and she’s a long and athletic guard
Walton has elevated her game and watching her show the pull-up jumper in the set as well as the “stop and pop” spoke volumes for me as she is a large piece of her teams puzzle simply because she can get hers in the flow as well as knock down the big shot in the clutch while being defended. She’s also a long and athletic guard and watching her slice by defenders to attack the basket and score was solid, yet so was her playing the passing lane

Walton falls into another hashtag I love using and that’s #sizedontamtter because she can play and as I think back to watching her watch their older sister Elizabeth going off, I knew the baby would follow both of her sisters in bringing IT on the floor. Tori is so “poised under pressure” and that stood out very early in her career as well as how she reacted in certain situations along with doing things instinctively. Her ballhandling and court vision are nice, she can drop the jumper from outside, she scores off the dribble and does a good job defensively

Marshall stamped her ticket years ago while having a conversation with me evaluating talent and trust me, she was better in the 5th grade than much of what I’m reading from “new experts” but when I saw her play for the first time, I knew big things were coming and watching her transformation from being a dominant back to the basket player who rebounded with authority on both ends, as well as defended inside the paint was nice because of her skillset, coupled with her “hands and footwork”. Fast forward to now, her mid to long-range as well as ballhandling have shot up, she scores powerfully off the dribble and her lateral movement and “on the ball” pressure outside the paint JUST DID IT for me
