As the 2023-2024 season reaches the midpoint, a variety of showcases and tournaments are ongoing. In a couple of weeks, conference seasons will wind down, and teams will begin preparing for their 2024 state tournament run. After expanding the 2024 rankings list to a Top-125 and a watch list of another 125 prospects, we are now at 250 total 2024 prospects listed on Prep Girls Hoops Indiana. Our March update will mark the final time the Class of 2024 will be updated, but in the meantime, I wanted to highlight all of the power forwards in the class who we currently have listed, as well as point out some newcomers and those who have raised their stock since the beginning of the season.

Bond

Mitchell | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-11 PF/C, Mitchell H.S.
– Jillian is a nice, strong, physical front-liner who is willing to do a lot of the “blue collar” work in the paint. She will battle and box out for rebounds, she defends the interior with her strength, but she also has some skill and nice touch in the mid-post and can play facing the basket at times.

, 2024, 5-10 PF, Corydon Central H.S.
– Jaiden is a versatile multisport athlete. She has some strength, solid all-around athleticism, and she plays with a motor. She was starting to get into a groove as a Sophomore, was absent from last year’s team, but is back as a Senior. She does a nice job in the mid-post and the short corners.

Fort Wayne Wayne | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-9 PF, Fort Wayne Wayne H.S.
– Khalise is a strong, physical/powerful player who just produces. She has soft hands, solid footwork, and though she’s a little undersized at 5-9, she does a nice job of establishing position on the block. She has some touch facing the basket as well, plus she has a nose for the ball and gets a lot of put-backs.
Ava Egolf

Tippecanoe Valley | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-10 PF, Tippecanoe Valley H.S.
– Ava grew up in the Warsaw system but came to Tippecanoe Valley this season. She has a strong, athletic frame, she moves well in most directions, and she is starting to diversify her game. In the past, she had been more of a back-to-the-basket kid, but now she’s starting to handle and attack a lot more.
Daniella Galvez

Speedway | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-9 PF, Speedway H.S.
– Daniella is a four-year Varsity kid who does whatever her team needs to be successful. She has some strength, athleticism, and a nice work ethic. She can rebound and defend the interior, she can play facing in the mid-post, plus she can step out and knock down the occasional 3-pointer or defend a wing.
Lexi Hale

6'0" | PF
Northwestern | 2024
IN
, 2024, 6-0 PF, Northwestern H.S.
– The best way to describe Lexi is as an active athlete on the basketball court. She excels at high jump, sprinting, and hurdling in the Spring, so on the hardwood, she is flying around making plays, whether it’s rebounding, defending, or scoring inside of 15-feet. She is a pogo stick who outworks opponents.

WINTER STOCK-RISERS:
Kaitlyn Hoff
Kaitlyn
Hoff
5'11" | PF
North Central (Indianapolis) | 2024
State
IN
, 2024, 5-11 PF/SF, North Central H.S. (Indianapolis)
– Kaitlyn saw a lot of action last season for the Panthers, but this year, in the absence of several graduates and transfers, she has stepped into more of a starring role and taken off. She is strong, active, and athletic. She can post, rebound, score inside, and defend inside. At the same time, she can step out and defend bigger guards and wings, and she has worked to really improve her own perimeter shot and has been much more consistent over the past 9-12 months. As she continues to make her handle more dynamic, look for her to potentially play more of a true ‘3’ at the next level.
Brooklyn York
Brooklyn
York
5'11" | PF
Franklin Community | 2024
State
IN
, 2024, 5-11 PF/SF, Franklin Community H.S.
– Brooklyn is an effortful, unique prospect with a lot of versatility. She has nice height and length, a lot more strength than you’d anticipate, and she’s able to be physical and post inside. At the same time, she has some bounce, and she’s able to put it on the floor and go by defenders. Additionally, she’s a capable perimeter shooter and is knocking down nearly two 3-pointers per game at 31% this season, and on a team loaded with 2024 talent, she has stepped up and is currently leading them in scoring at 13.4 points per game. Brooklyn also excels on the volleyball court.
Ava Ziolkowski

Ziolkowski
6'1" | PF
Crown Point | 2024
State
IN
, 2024, 6-1 PF, Crown Point H.S.
– Ava was in uniform as a Freshman on Crown Point’s state championship team, and now she is leading the Bulldogs in most statistical categories. As a Freshman and Sophomore she averaged just 3.1 and 5.3 points per game, respectively. Then last year, with added strength and a much bigger opportunity, she moved to 17.9 points per game. Now, as a Senior, this sharp-shooting face-up ‘4’ is scoring at a 28.7 ppg clip and has had games of 55, 42, 41, 41, and 40 points, while still making 55% of her fields goals, and 36% (35-96) of her 3-pointers and grabbing 9.5 rebounds per game.
