Birch currently has 1,526 career points for the Lady Chargers. Take in mind Alayah missed all of her junior season with an injury. She does a bit of everything here for her SCISA based program in Class 4A. Birch excels on the hardwood along with the volleyball court.
Alayah is having a big season averaging 18.2 ppg, 11.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 3.7 steals for the Lady Chargers (19-2). She does a great job of rebounding the ball out of her area and from her position.
Alayah has the ability to rebound the ball and bring the ball up in transition for a basket on the other end. Birch climbed up from previously being ranked at #16 to #12 in the 2024 Palmetto State Class. Can she and the Lady Chargers get to the top this season in SCISA Class 4A?
Crawford made the jump up from #32 to #24 this time around. She really knows how to direct the offense from out top for the Lady Bearcats. De’Ashaj can get the ball into the paint and hit the gaps whenever she wants it seems. Crawford really likes to use the bounce pass to set up her mates and she feels quite comfortable using her left-hand quite frequently.
De’Ashaj rebounds the ball well from her position on the floor. She likes to play the game in attack mode. Can the Lady Bearcats be a strong contender in Class 5A next month?
Hayes recently gave a pledge to Southern Wesleyan University – NCAA D2 for next year. Deyana and her teammates are looking to make one last ride come late February. The Lady Hurricanes lost in the Class 3A State Championship last season. Hayes understands where her game is and that’s around the paint area.
Deyana a left-handed forward made to the move up from #33 to #29 this time around. Hayes is averaging 10.8 ppg and 11.3 rebounds this season for the Lady Hurricanes (19-2).
Chambers is off to Limestone University (SC) NCAA D2 next year to play. Maggie really came on strong this past summer with her play on the Grassroots Circuit and with her high school team. She currently has the Blue Flame (18-2) this season in the Upstate. Maggie is averaging 15.9 ppg and 8.8 rebounds this season.
Chambers made the move up from #80 to #57 this last time around. The Blue Flame currently stands in 2nd place behind Westside in the region at (6-1).
Leaphart is playing with a team with a very young roster. Ahleira is currently averaging 16.7 ppg and 6.6 steals this season. She’s very active and quick in the passing lanes to pick up deflections and steals. The Indians are currently (13-9) and play at the Class 3A level.
Leaphart really excels in the transition game and attacking the baseline at times. She gets a lot of her buckets heading to the bucket. Ahleira made the move up from #111 to #95 in the rankings.
