Makayla Noble has been dominant on the court no matter who she is going up against. She can get inside driving hard to the hoop, and she can step outside the perimeter to knock down her shot. With a strong ball handler graduating for Salisbury last year, Noble has done an excellent job taking the reins and leading her team to a stellar season so far. She uses her wingspan well on defense knocking the ball away from her opponents.
Jerin Truesdale has a way of taking over games and doing whatever her team needs whether she needs to pick up the energy, attack the basket, or grab some rebounds on both ends of the court. She can battle against tough contact finishing at the rim, and she is quick pushing the ball up the court to make fast breaks count. She is tough on defense not backing down from others trying to score.
Lauren Arnold is continuing her strong season with the 3A state champions. She recently committed to Mars Hill to continue her playing career, and us North Carolinians are here for it. She knows how to find the open lanes and get to the rim, and she crashes the boards going after rebounds on both ends. She’s tough on the block being able to post up on anyone trying to stop her.
Jessica Worthey has been showing what an asset she is on the court. She is constantly going after the ball on both ends whether she is jumping in front of passing lanes to grab the steal or relocating to get the open look. She’s tough on the block getting rebounds and sealing off her opponents. She doesn’t back down driving to the basket scoring three points the old fashioned way.
