Now, you need to realize that the players selected were from Saturday and Sunday ONLY, I was at a different event on Monday. I am working on doing a story on the Monday kids after I watch them on-demand but for now, here my Classic in the Country All-Tournament 2nd Team!!
(Note: freshman are not included among these players since they were already listed)
She moves well around the perimeter and gets into position to score. She has good range and is able to make plays for her team. Good leadership and seems to always be in the right place. Productive at both ends of the floor. Active hands on the defensive end.
Alyssa is a very prolific senior leader and is in the right place to make the play for her team. She has good range, can knock down the three or is able to finish at the rim. Excellent footwork and able to use her body to seal her defender and score. If needed, Alyssa can get to the rim and score.
Does an excellent job in all aspects of the game. Good court vision and able to push the ball north-south in a fast paced game. Does a great job running the Wadsworth offense, distributes the ball effectively and always playing the game with her head on a swivel, anticipating the play on the defensive end. Smooth midrange jumper.
Highlights
She has range and isn’t afraid to let it fly. Will knock it down behind the arc. She is everywhere on the court. Did a great job sneaking in the paint for an offensive rebound and confidently scored in traffic. She really explodes in the open court and can finish in transition. She put on a show in this game. One of the more complete post players who can defend inside or out. Soft touch and strong on the boards. Good handles and can push tempo. Strong hands and able to secure the rebound. She is also a threat from out on the perimeter, not afraid to knock it down. Enjoyed watching this outstanding player grow up and her game has really blossomed.
Julia is a player who I saw early in the season and she has all the tools to be a fantastic player. She’s got the size to play underneath, but often plays up top. Great footwork and can slash to the rim and score. Plays with a good smart basketball IQ, will make a big difference anywhere on the court. Plays at both ends of the floor. Her stock is growing!
She doesn’t play like a typical sophomore, as she plays with so much poise, not afraid of battling through contact and will take it right to you. She can get to the rim and draw defenders, with the ability to find one of her talented teammates. Can hesitate then explode past her defender. Team got it handed to them by Mason on Sunday yet she still battled. Although they played much better Monday, I have not seen the game yet, but from what I hear she had a very productive day in their victory!

Exploded out of the gate with a dominate performance to open the game for Warrensville Heights. So explosive and her quickness and active hands makes it difficult to deal with her. Active on-ball defender. Defensively, she isn’t afraid to block shots around the rim as she elevates well. Able to anticipate the game leading to chances for her team. Has a great euro!
