Below are 5 players who will be suiting for a new program this AAU season. These moves have been strategic and the players will show impact right away!
Carver’s role on the Montini program shifts depending on the possession, but what remains consistent is her ability to stretch the floor and defend multiple style guards. Shes active on the boards, and aware on the defensive side. The IQ is present on both sides of the ball. A player to watch on the Broncos program.
There’s no thought about distance for Knight. She has the confidence to put up a shot from anywhere, and there’s a high chance that it’ll go in. On the defensive side of the ball, she’s aggressive, alert and doesn’t back down from an opponent. She is as tough as they come, and has been a big part of the wins that Providence has gotten this year.
Highlights
From beyond the arc Heimsness is lethal. Fluid and a confident shot has been key to her ability to make shots at a high clip. Off the catch and or off the bounce. Defensively, her IQ and awareness has been needed for Taylorville as well. Jumping the gaps, playing up tight and taking risks.
Falls frame has been major in her progression. A strong framed kid who has found her touch beyond the arc. She shoots the ball with confidence, and can get it going when needed. Defensively, her frame and motor are key in her impact on that side of the ball.
Regardless of class, Aubrey is the best pure point guard in the state and one of the top guards in the country. The high tier defense has been shown on multiple occasions, in both AAU and high-school over the years. This season however she’s shown that from an offensive stand point that she can hang with the best of them. From beyond the arc this year, Aubrey has made tough shots on a consistent basis in countless games. Another notch to add to the “Pure Point” label.
