Below are my 6 players who have been program changers for their high school teams.
Todd has added some energy and aggression to her game this year. The frame is college ready, the speed is college ready and now the “I got this” attitude has entered. From the arc to the rim, Ella can score with the best of them. Defensively is where the separation begins. The length matched with the foot and take off speed are difference makers. Utah has a hell of talent coming to them.
Powers has been playing with a different type of confidence and its showing in her game as well as all the conversations at tournaments. She is simply dominant in the low block area. She has soft touch around the rim, and could stretch the floor to about 12-15 feet if needed. This program success has her hands written over it.
The work is showing. Taylor has been making some noise in Stillman Valley these past couple of years. This year is no different. 1000 points secured and strong numbers have been put up on a consistent basis. A lot of potential is present for Davidson.
Huff plays longer than she’s listed, and the talent she has, has been on display for a majority of the season. The skillset is still being pieced together, but the fundamentals are there. She can impact the game from beyond the arc, or use her length to get to the rim. A player to keep an eye on as the season concludes.

Proctor has no fear of anything in front of her and the poised attitude/face no matter the situation, is another thing that stands out immediately. She is another key piece for Altons success this season.

Brown plays with a bit of aggression when attacking the rim. Shes versatile, crafty and has some athleticism to match it. Beyond the arc she’s a knockdown shooter, and can get to pull up if needed. A do it all combo guard that
