We had a lot talent on the court when I was able to catch day 1 of the action. Let’s take a look at some of the post players who performed well at the event.
Maja Rohkohl is an asset in the paint using her height to go up high for rebounds grabbing them on both ends. She uses offensive boards for scoring opportunities, and she knows how to find her open teammate when opponents double down on her. She does well rotating between the high and low post knowing when to make the pass or score her own bucket.
Sarah Oduro was dominant in the paint going to work posting up for her points. She got inside fighting for rebounds on both ends, and she went right back up to the hoop when she got an offensive rebound. She saw the floor well knowing where to move and fill in the gaps to get the pass.

Kristina Rakotobe was getting inside for rebounds, and she had some nice moves using her handles to get the open look on offense. She made a nice play scoring through contact on the block earning a trip to the free throw line. She was constantly flashing to the open area.
Liz Wyrick knows how to seal off her opponents getting the open look and going to work off the entry pass. She makes nice adjustments going up for the basket knowing exactly where she is on the court to score her points. She always puts her hands right where she wants the pass from her teammates, and she goes to work.
