Elyse Autrey showed off her range shooting the ball from deep even with post player hands in her face. She had a nice move dribbling behind her back to create some space and pull up for the shot. She sees the floor well finding her open teammate filling in the lanes for fast break points. On defense, she even showed her intelligence drawing a charge. She was a strong defender slowing down her opponent on the other end.
Highlights
Edina Strausz was running the court well being ready for the pass on fast breaks. She had some strong rebounds on both ends, and she scored off of offensive boards. She was making aggressive drives to the basket showing off some handles filling in the lanes and getting to the rim. She blocks shots easily in the paint on defense.
Gracynn Gough is so tough in the paint posting up and going to work, and she can attack the basket from the top of the key. She has a nice shot around the arc, too. She doesn’t back down from contact absorbing it and not letting it change her adjustments as she attacks the rim. She hustles up the court being ready for the pass on fast breaks.
Camille Kerridge is so shifty with the ball being able to use ball fakes to create space and pull up for her jumper. She was a nuisance on defense getting all over the court blocking passes and grabbing steals that she knew how to immediately push up the court. She even had a nice take showing off her ability to take some notes from post players and score on the block. Her shot fakes turned into nice bounce passes getting post players off their feet to hit her teammate in stride on the way to two points at the rim.
Sky Donaie opened up the scoring off an offensive rebound and putting up a nice reverse scoring her points. She had a nice tap in off an in bounds play not even having to come down with the ball before the shot. She follows shots grabbing rebounds on both ends. She was using power dribbles to get into position and score her points. She did a nice job staying in the right position on defense to knock away the entry pass.
