I haven’t been able to get on the road as much but YouTube has been a very valuable asset when it comes to seeing a lot of players play. This article will feature some players who have been performing well for their team.
Maiesha Washington Maiesha Washington 6'1" | PF Fayetteville | 2025 State AR | Forward | Fayetteville | 2025
Maiesha got my attention in the game vs Springdale. She’s a tough interior player with good size standing around 6’1. A versatile offensive player who can operate out of the high post and even catch on the perimeter and put the ball on the floor to attack the basket. Maiesha has a high IQ with a calm demeanor and never seems to panic or rush when being pressured. She can handle the ball in the open court and has a nice shot and soft touch around the basket.
Charleen Hudson | PG | Springdale | 2026
When you talk about some of the best point guards in the class of 2026 you have to mention Charleen. Her ability to create off the bounce and get into her shot comes with ease. What impresses me is how she plays at such a good pace. She doesn’t rush, she’s not out of control but can play fast. Her 1 on 1 skills gives her the ability to get into the defense and make plays for herself or a teammate. She can finish with the floater or through contact.
Myah Haney | Forward/Wing | Har-Ber | 2027
Here’s another player in that deep 2027 class that is impressive. I saw Myah earlier in the year at a tournament and I said then when she figures some things out she will be fine. Now that we are about halfway through the season Myah is starting to figure some things out. The freshman comes off the bench but provides a spark for her team. She’s a versatile defender who can guard multiple positions. She gets out in transition, rebounds well, and finishes in traffic. A promising player with potential whose role will grow throughout her career.
Delaney Roller Delaney Roller 5'9" | SF Har-Ber | 2024 State AR | Guard | Har-Ber | 2024
Delaney is one of the best guards in the class of 2024. The senior guard has been connecting on multiple threes and making plays off the dribble. Har-Ber has several young and promising prospects and Delaney has had to step into a leadership role with this team. Her leadership and play will be key to the success of this team. Delaney helped lead the team to the Hoops 4 Hunger championship with a 20-point performance against Russellville in the championship game.
Alexis Cox Alexis Cox 5'8" | SF Conway | 2025 State AR | Wing | Conway | 2025
When Cabot came to town Conway knew they would have their hands full. Alexis stepped up big time to help lead Conway to a 60-47 win. Alexis had her fingerprints all over this game. Alexis’ versatility allows her to defend interior and perimeter players while also being able to play multiple positions on offense. She can attack off the bounce from the perimeter, be a threat from the high post, post up smaller guards, and knock down the three-pointer.
