Alexis Cox Alexis Cox 5'8" | SF Conway | 2025 State AR has already received numerous Division I offers from UC Davis, Oral Roberts, Radford, Central Arkansas, and others. But with a strong senior season, expect her to rack up more offers.

Cox is regarded by Arkansas Prep Girls Hoops as the top player in the state, and it is no surprise with how hard she plays each night. Cox is best at attacking the basket and using her strength to force her way inside. She also uses her strength and elite athleticism to dominate the defensive glass, which starts the fast-break. Cox has the skills to take it coast-to-coast or to feed her teammates via an outlet pass.

Cox is a tough, skilled, and unselfish as a basketball player, who will be looking to lead the Wampus Cats back to the 6A state championship, but preferably to walk away with ring.

Prep Girls Hoops Lead Scout

Cox is a “long and athletic” guard which is also the base and I was energized watching her using her athleticism on both ends of the court. Her on the ball pressure was solid, baseline to baseline as well as in the set, but she also outrebounded taller players, on both ends and scored around the basket, putbacks included. Her first step is nice and so is her body control as she attacked a finished strongly, after contact included. She created her shot and dropped it under pressure from mid to long range

Alexis went from a role player at the start of the season to the third scoring option for Conway. Her 14pts and 8 rebounds were key for Conway coming away with the title. The versatile wing player played different positions for Conway throughout the year and that was a major key the team’s title run.
