[player_tooltip player_id='493477' first='Diamond' last='Polk'] (Lift for Life): The 5'8" shooting guard earned Most Valuable Player honors after leading the Hawks to a 65-62 victory over Huntsville Lee (AL). She scored a game-high 18 points. She got the Hawks rolling to a big early lead with three consecutive jumpers to open the game. She also closed the game with some clutch free throw shooting. She's a fundamentally sound game who plays without the ball well and shoots the ball with a quick release.
