I like her skillset for a freshman. Able to create space and has length which she utilizes. Defends well with a good wingspan but still learning the game. Isn’t “star struck’ at this level. Has a nice touch pass into paint, uses her teammate Gerken well for the easy shot. Will be fun to watch her game grow over the next four years.

Celeste is starting on a team with a lot of tradition. She plays the game under control and creates space, able to finish the shot. Another freshman with a good future in the game. Not intimidated by the big stage. Good basketball IQ and she has good court vision. Look for her to continue to improve with Team Ohio this spring.

Got to see her for the first time as Willard battled the defending state champs from Tri Village solid for most of the game. Emelia is a guard with good hands who was pressed into service with injuries on her team. She showed she can make solid moves and gets to the hole. Her basketball IQ is developing.
She is thrown right into the fire in a very tough conference, but Michaela is a strong physical player with the ability to play in a physical style of game. She can more than hold her own at this level. Good presence both inside or out. Handles the ball well and her on-ball defense is solid for a newcomer. (Featured photo above)
Saw her earlier in the year, and I am impressed with how well she moves without the ball and she can play a fundamental game. Moves downhill well and able to get to the rim. She is developing into a good multidimensional player for the Flyers with a good motor and a basketball IQ that is very solid. Good future for her!
