Kennedy Marshall
Kennedy Marshall
Edison has been sneaky good this year, and they have a lot of players that impressed me this weekend. The first one is Sophomore Guard Kennedy Marshall. Kennedy put on a fantastic shooting display in Edison’s overtime win over Hayfield. Kennedy’s shooting helped Edison get out to a big lead, and her shooting was why she finished with a team-high 21 points.
Shannon Heiner
Shannon Heiner
Shannon Heiner had a complete game against Hayfield. She found Kennedy Marshall on a couple of her threes, and she had fingerprints all over this game. Shannon knocked down a couple of threes and finished with 14 points. She also chipped in 6 rebounds and 5 assists to round out an excellent showing for her.
Sarah Chawki
Sarah Chawki
The last Edison player that impressed me was Sarah Chawki. Sarah has been terrific all year, and her impact was displayed all game. The best example of how vital Chawki is to this Edison squad is looking at the minutes she spends off the floor. Sarah got hurt, and Hayfield could go on a 10-1 when Sarah was on the sidelines. As soon she returned, Edison steadied the ship and went on an 11-2 run. Sarah attacked the rim all game and finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Potomac School put on an offensive masterclass against Flint Hill. Sabrina Anderson Sabrina Anderson 5’8″ | PG Potomac School | 2027 State VA was one of my standouts of the week post, and she was even better in Potomac School’s lone game this weekend. Sabrina scored 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists. It was an excellent game for Sabrina to cap off a great week.
Another terrific Potomac School player was Catherine LeTendre Catherine LeTendre 6’1″ | CG Potomac School | 2025 State VA . Catherine’s versatility was on display, and she had a dominant performance. The Duo of her and Sabrina Anderson Sabrina Anderson 5’8″ | PG Potomac School | 2027 State VA outscored Flint Hill by 7. Catherine finished with 24 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 steals.

Hope Drake Hope Drake 5’11” | SF Briar Woods | 2024 State VA is another player I had on my standouts for the week, and she had her best game against an elite Highland Springs team. Hope had 24 points and was the only player on her team in double figures. So far, this was the best win for a Briar Woods team that sits at 16-1. She knocked down two threes and was perfect at the line.
