Emmalee Belmont
Emmalee Belmont
Watching her sit back in the middle of the 2-3 zone, she is deceivingly active and vocal on defense. She jumps out and defends and looks to protect her area well. On the offense end, she is a good pick-and-roll player and gets into position to score at the rim.
Avery Cox
Avery Cox
Hard nosed player at both ends of the floor. She has a good presence around the rim and can crash and rebound well. She can get the work done on the court smoothly and has a good skillset. Not afraid to let it fly from behind the arc. A solid scoring option. On the defensive side, she can put pressure on her opponent with good on-ball defense.
Kenlie Jones
Kenlie Jones
Love her shot from behind the arc, shoots it with ease and can move well without the ball to get to her spots. She showed that with some long range shooting early in the game, burying one from well behind the arc with ease. Not afraid to pull the trigger. I love her quickness and ability to read the game in advance of the play. Hustler and finisher.
Sam Easter
Sam Easter
Very explosive guard with a great first step to the rim. Able to finish shots well at the rim with either hand. When she is not doing that, she will easily drop the three from behind the arc anywhere around the perimeter. Loves her energy and tenacity right out of the gate in this game! Able to suffocate her defender with pressuring defense. Smart, heady player with a good basketball IQ.
Megan Zimmerman
Megan Zimmerman
Megan reached a milestone last week by scoring her 1,000th career point. I have seen her play before and really liked the way she can take over the game. Quick and active on defense, able to read and react to the play. Great court vision and will find the shot for her team. She has the handles to play a full court game, push the tempo and finish at the rim through contact. She is a playmaker!!
Such an explosive offensive player, Peyton has the skills to beat you inside or out. She is one of the top seniors in the Cincinnati area. She is headed to Coastal Georgia to play at the next level, and she just does so much well for her team. Haleigh mentioned a couple of weeks ago how well she seems the floor, that was evident when I saw her play in this event. Very fundamental.
Highlights
She is headed to UT Martin and her ability to lead a team is next level. She does so many things well with the ball in her hands. She has excellent size to be able to run the offense and produce either on the drive on with the perimeter game. Has solid three-point range and will knock them down. Very underrated kid but all she does is produce. Natural leader!!
I have seen her enough times to know that at any time, she can take a game over. The Rio Grande commit does whatever it takes for her team to succeed. She is a scorer and a facilitator with the ball. Plays under control and can beat you in a variety of ways. She can read the passing lanes well, forcing mistakes. Three level scorer, Payton is next-level ready.
