Maddy Warberg Maddy Warberg 5’11” | SG Willamette | 2025 State OR , who has been a steady force for the #4-ranked Wolverines, is a shooting guard to know. The three-year starter has incredible length and athleticism at 6’0, and is currently sitting on some offers to continue her career at the D1 level in a few years. Warberg is consistently a lights-out shooter, while doing all of the little things to help her team win. She was nominated for the Register Guard’s Athlete of the Week a few games ago after finishing with 16 points, including a few shots from deep, in the win over Roseburg.

I had the opportunity to watch Jaekel play in person in their game against Wilsonville last week. She is a true competitor with an unending motor who played until the very last whistle, despite the point-deficit. While running the point for the Kingsmen and causing all sorts of chaos as an elite defender, Jaekel is also a very gifted scorer, including her ability to shoot the rock from deep. Midway through the season, she is averaging a very impressive 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 4.0 steals per game.

McKay’s Patricia Mike is another sharpshooting guard to watch out for from the 2025 rankings. In a conference battle against South Albany, she nailed three 3-pointers, finishing with 20 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist; and knocked down another three 3-pointers on her way to an incredible 33 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals against Central. Often playing point for the Scots, Mike can shoot both off the catch or create her own look off the dribble. She has been having a incredible junior season and will only continue to get better.
