This has been my first year seeing Crane play, and she has been impactful from the beginning of the season. Hallie has the frame of a college athlete and a skillset that blends in with the players around her. Shes tough in the paint, and effective from the FT line and down.
Nina has the skillset to be effective in multiple situations for the Lady Dolphins. Her ability to be impactful off the ball, has been needed for a team who plays more in a half court setting. Defensively, her size doesn’t stop her from causing problems for the opponent. She can be a disruptor in the lanes or on ball.
Norman is a perfect piece to have for the Redbirds. She can be effective in the starting lineup or a paint spark off the bench, whatever the game plan consists of.. she can deliver. She has solid size on the block, and a decent touch around the rim. If she starts to find her rhythm early in the game, she can be a problem for the opponent.
Highlights
What Ava brings to the defensive end of the floor can’t be missed. She’s one of those players that can be plugged into a system and find ways to succeed. Defensively, she has the size to be stone like in the paint. She holds her position well, and makes it difficult for players to backdown. Strong IQ on the defensive side of the ball, and a motor on the boards.
Highlights
Katzmann speed alone is an advantage that most programs don’t have. Her energy and relentlessness on the defensive side of the ball is consistent from the start of the game to the end. A majority of point will come in the open court due to her awareness of the passing lanes. She knows when to gamble, when to stunt and when to just make her presence felt. A ton of potential.
