Angalance Quinones, High School Springfield Central, Class Senior, Position SG
Springfield Central currently has a recorded of 14-2, and is ranked 3rd in the MIAA division 1 power rankings. Angalance is a big part of that. She has had many big games this season. One was a game against west Springfield where she made 6 three pointers, and finished with 24 points , 6 rebounds 6 steals, and 5 assists. Angalance is a Shooting guard with length. She has a smooth shot, and a quick release. She is also very aggressive on defense. Springfield Central is definitely a team that has a chance to take home the state championship.
Lizmarie Sanchez, Bay State Academy, Position G
Lizmarie is a dominate scorer, and has been tearing it up this season in Western Mass. She recently had a game against Commerce where she set the school recorded with 45 points. She attacked the hoop really well and converted all of her free throws going 13 for 13 from the line. She also went 2 for 2 from three point range. Lizmarie has also had games with 35 and 38 points this season.
Alexa Davis Alexa Davis 5'8" | SF Springfield International Charter | 2024 State NewE , Springfield international Charter, Position F, Class Junior
Alex recently scored her 1000th career point. She is a strong scorer who can play inside and out. She can shoot the three and attack the basket. Her season high’s are February 5th vs North Hampton with 24 points, and December 14th vs Westfield with 27 points. She can score in the post with the right matchup, and she finishes really well through contact. Davis is showing her game will translate well to the next level.
Alexus Sanchez, Westfield, Position PG, class Senior
Yesterday vs Chicopee Alexus had a standout game with 20 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 7 steels. She was very good in Westfields zone defense, and forced a bunch of turnovers leading to fast breaks. Alexus is a Point Guard that likes to run the floor, and get out in transition. 15 of her 20 points she scored in the game, were scored in transition. She can create plays for herself or her teammates. Defensively she plays with high energy and is aggressive.
Evi Higgins Evi Higgins 5'11" | PF Berkshire | 2025 State NewE , Berkshire, Position SF, Class Junior
Evi is a 5’11 stretch forward. She stretches the floor well with her 3 point shooting, and abilities to attack off the dribble. She has made 5 threes in a game this season. Evi is tough to stop on the glass. On defense she is a rim protector and can guard multiple positions. Evi’s game has shown it will translate well to the next level.
