Horizon 16-2 (9-0 Front Range)
A well balanced group who competes on both ends regardless of matchup, Horizon remains the team to beat within the Front Range league. At the point of attack, this group trusts in Regis commit Natalie Thornton (12.3 P, 4.2 R, 2.6 A) and fellow guard Morgan Ives (12.7 P, 3.7 R, 4.4 A). In the paint, opponents are often met by frontcourt prospect Katlinn Schumann (7.2 P, 7.8 R, 2.5 B), who currently is 4th in blocks per game within 6A. Madyn Kassalty (6.3 P, 5.8 R) has added value through her rebounding, always on the move once the shot goes up. Ella Waufle (6.2 P) has been dependable as a complementary shotmaker and high energy defensive presence. Avery Alcaraz Avery Alcaraz 5'8" | SG Fort Collins | 2025 State CO (16.5 P, 3.1 R) has been important for this Fort Collins group, taking on the bulk of the offensive usage for this winning group. Currently in the top-20 among all 6A athletes in scoring and 2nd in made free throws, Alcaraz remains a pest with the ball. Forward Claire Wagstaff Claire Wagstaff 6'2" | SF Fort Collins | 2024 State CO (8.2 P, 5.1 R) has provided rim protection and activity rolling to the rim for paint finishes, second on this team for made free throws. Penley Park Penley Park 5'10" | CG Fort Collins | 2024 State CO (4.9 P) and Jocelyn Kramar (7.9 P, 4.9 R, 2.2 A) have provided value through their shotmaking from distance, keeping opponents honest for closing out shooters. Paige Fry (5.7 P) has been effective crashing the glass, while utilizing her active hands to disrupt opposing scorers. They bring in sophomores Annika Vandalen (5.8 P, 2.2 R) and Lydia Childs (5.7 P), already making their impact.

She remains the most skilled three point shooter in the state, leading 6A in made threes by a margin of 9 makes. Selfless guard Kenna Wagner Kenna Wagner 5'6" | CG Rocky Mountain | 2025 State CO (8.2 P, 6.1 A, 3.8 R) has kept her teammates involved, often setting them up for success following a kick out. Junior Meela Delap (11.9 P, 6.4 R) continues her efficient scoring inside the arc, adding balance to this Rocky Mountain offense. Other hustle players routinely contributing include Morgen Delap (5.7 P, 4.7 R) and Alayna Wentz (3.2 P, 3.6 R). Additional complementary shotmakers include Sydney Schlepp (2 P, 2 A), Sage Bennett (3.5 P, 3.9 R), and Ashlynn Tilley (2.6 P, 2.6 R).
