The Bergen County Tournament is in down to the Final 4. Here are the girls that made a splash in their Quarterfinal victories and will look to continue leading their teams in the Semifinals on Saturday at Fair Lawn HS.

[player_tooltip player_id='325189' first='Cristina' last='Parrella'] - #1-Saddle River Day

Once again, Cristina led the Rebels to victory. In a 68-52 win over #8-Demarest that was not as close as the final score, Parrella had 19 points including 5 3-pointers, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. She leads SRDS with 17+ppg, 48 3-pointers and 4+apg and is 2nd in rebounds, blocks and steals. The Princeton commit has scored in double figures in 15 of 18 games with 2 double doubles and should lead the Rebels to their 8th straight Bergen County Championship and her 2nd since transferring from Demarest after her sophomore season.

[player_tooltip player_id='583951' first='Brooke' last='Braen'] - #1-Saddle River Day

In a 68-52 win over #8-Demarest that sent Saddle River Day to the Bergen County Semifinals, Brooke scored in double figures for the 2nd consecutive game and 7th time in 18 games and finished with 18 points including 3 3-pointers, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. She was part of a backcourt that pressured the ball full court all day and created chaos for the Demarest backcourt. Brooke leads the team in steals and is 2nd in assists heading into the Bergen County Semifinals.

[player_tooltip player_id='488858' first='Samantha' last='Serrano'] - #5-Holy Angels

In a dominant 51-33 over #4-Ramapo, Sam once again led her team in the scoring column. After a slow start to this game for both teams, Sam exploded for 17 2nd quarter points. It started with a couple of fast break layups off Ramapo turnovers and when Ramapo's top defender, [player_tooltip player_id='564268' first='Toni' last='Pernetti'], went to the bench late in the 1st half she got hot in the halfcourt sets with 3 3-pointers in the quarter. All told she finished with 24 points and led her team to the Bergen County Semifinals where they will face #1-Saddle River Day. Serrano is averaging 26+ppg with 59 3-pointers in 17 games while also leading her team in steals. She has 7 games with 30+ppg including one game with 46 in which she hit 10 3-pointers.

[player_tooltip player_id='677128' first='Leayana' last='Dorville'] - #3-Teaneck

In another hard-fought win, Teaneck beat #6-River Dell 58-51 to advance to the Bergen County Semifinals. Leayana continues to be a leader in the absence of veteran players. Though [player_tooltip player_id='600896' first='Jillian' last='Carter'] returned in this one, they were still playing without starters [player_tooltip player_id='559047' first='Lexi' last='Carnegie'] and [player_tooltip player_id='325206' first='Demi' last='Simpson']. Leayana 16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Only a freshman, Leayana has stepped up in the face of injury by scoring in double figures in 7 of the last 8 games. She is averaging 11+ppg and 4+rpg this season and has the most total points on the team. Teaneck will need another strong effort against #7-Old Tappan in the Bergen County Semifinals.

[player_tooltip player_id='488845' first='Erin' last='Frazier'] - #3-Teaneck

Erin's senior leadership was on full display in the Bergen County Quarterfinals against #6-River Dell. It was a 58-51 victory that saw Teaneck playing without their leading scorer in their leading rebounder. Erin stepped up and led Teaneck in every category with 21 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks. She also went 7-7 from the free throw line. It was her 4th double double of the season and 3rd double digit scoring game in the last 5. Averaging 8+ppg and 9rpg her size and physicality will definitely be needed against #7-Old Tappan and their trio of bigs in the Bergen County Semifinals.
