The Bergen County Tournament is in down to 2 teams. Here are the girls that made a splash in their Semifinal victories and will look to continue leading their teams in the Championship on Wednesday at Fair Lawn HS.

[player_tooltip player_id='325218' first='Julianna' last='Almeida'] - #1-Saddle River Day

Saddle River Day cruised past #5-Holy Angels and Julianna led the way. In a dominating 89-42 victory, Almeida had 20 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Her non-stop effort at both ends has been a factor for the Rebels all season long. The Navy commit is averaging a career high 16+ppg and she is 116 points short of 1,000 for her career as she enters her last month of high school basketball. She is also averaging 6+rpg and 3apg. She leads the team in blocks and has hit a career high 20 3-pointers this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='583951' first='Brooke' last='Braen'] - #1-Saddle River Day

Brooke is averaging a career high 9+ppg this season, but in 3 rounds of Bergen County Tournament games she has averaged 15+ppg including 16 points in the semifinal. She also had 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals in the win over #5-Holy Angels. She has also set career highs for 3-pointers, rebounds, assists and steals this season. With a Bergen County Championship game and a loaded Non-Public B State tournament on deck, the Rebels will need continued production from Brooke to get where they want to go.

[player_tooltip player_id='333330' first='Faith' last='Williamson'] - #1-Saddle River Day

In Saddle River Day's 89-42 win over #5-Holy Angels, Faith continued to fill it up for the Rebels. She finished with 17 points, 6 assists, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. A lethal deep threat, Faith is averaging 2+ 3-pointers per game. Her average for the season is 12+ppg but over the last 9 games she is averaging 16+ppg which means Faith is getting hot at the right time of the year. Sitting just 82 points shy of 1,000 for her career, I'd expect to her to achieve that goal before this season ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='325206' first='Demi' last='Simpson'] - #3-Teaneck

After missing a few early February games, Demi was back with a vengeance leading her team to a 51-45 comeback win over #7-Old Tappan. Teaneck had lost to Old Tappan earlier in the week without Demi in the lineup. She finished the semifinal game with 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks against a big physical Old Tappan team. The New Haven commit is averaging a double double for the season and is just 65 rebounds away from 1,000 for her career. Teaneck will need her presence inside to compete with Saddle River Day in the Championship.
