Clayton vs. University City (February 20th)
A game between two schools that are just minutes from each other. Each are experiencing very good seasons. Clayton is 16-6 and University City is 18-6. Jasmine Burks, Lauren Young Lauren Young SG Clayton | 2025 State MO , Jael Green Jael Green 5'3" | PG University City | 2026 State MO , and Ehress Peoples. The Greyhounds run solid offense and U-City is going to play an up-tempo style of defense. This is a nice contrast of styles and will be a fun Tuesday night matchup to watch.
Incarnate Word vs. John Burroughs (February 21st)
The game of the week. These two have faced off multiple times this season and will once again on Wednesday, this time at Incarnate Word. It’s well documented that these games have a strong pattern over their past 3 matchups. John Burroughs always jumps out to an early lead and Incarnate Word comes back to win close. Will this be the game that John Burroughs can hold onto a lead and break the IWA win streak? It’s expected to be a great game!
North Kansas City vs. Platte County (February 21st)
North Kansas City (19-4) will travel to Platte County (19-3) in a great matchup before the playoffs start. These have consistently been two of the top programs in KC since the start of the season. Plenty of talent on the floor! Top players include DeeDee Newton DeeDee Newton 6'1" | PF North Kansas City | 2026 State MO , Macy Willmann, Lauren Stone, and Addy Schlake. Platte County is a strong defensive unit. Defense travels and this will be a key to victory.
Rolla vs. Kickapoo (February 22nd)
Rolla is 23-2 while Kickapoo is 24-1. This game is a perfect ending to the season for two squads who had high hopes entering the year and have lived up to the hype. Rolla is going to be one of Kickapoos toughest opponents they see all season and that includes the playoffs. It’s a senior + guard led squad which are extremely important at the prep level. This game is a home contest for Kickapoo. There’s no doubt it’ll be a fun environment in the gym.
