Khloe Ford Khloe Ford 6’4″ | C Hoover | 2026 AL lead the way in scoring for the Bucs. Ford finished with 15 points, but most importantly Ford scored the game winning basket with time running down. Ford’s aggression and intent on getting to the rim was steady all night.
Ariana Peagler Ariana Peagler 5’6″ | CG Hoover | 2024 State AL was efficient offensively. Peagler chipped in 14 points to help the Bucs overcome, and she hit shots from multiple spots out on the floor. Peagler did a splendid job defensively as well making things very difficult on Vestavia to get things going.
Aaliyah Blanchard Aaliyah Blanchard 5’10” | CG Hoover | 2026 AL has a bright future, and will likely be a staple of Hoover basketball going forward. In the Area Championship, Blanchard chipped in 11 points a did a good job of attacking the rim. Blanchard has an all around game, and can do a bit of everything.
Grayson Hudgens Grayson Hudgens 5’9″ | SF Vestavia Hills | 2025 AL dominated down in the interior for Vestavia. Hudgens was the best player out on the floor. Hudgens finished with a double double, as she put up 18 points and 10 boards. Hudgens footwork and ability to get in position was highly impressive.
Jill Gaylord did a good job of orchestrating Vestavia’s offense. Gaylord finished with 10 points. Gaylord created several looks for Vestavia, and controlled the tempo of the game for the Rebels. Gaylord’s poise was respectable as Hoover applied strong ball pressure.
