2024 opened up with several girls' basketball contest to document. Forest high school's first Maricamp Road Classic was a ten-hour spectacle showcasing the shorts. Throughout the month, several big matchups took place. Here are a few standouts from 2024's debut.

Princess Hardin is a 5'9 forward with an intriguing skill set. The senior attacks with boards on both sides, makes shots on all three levels, and attacks the rim from the high post. She's a quick decision maker who can rifle passes across the court. Hardin is a confident shooter, but can be streaky. She has a range to the high school three and excels 15 or so feet out with pull jumpers and floaters.

When you visit [player_tooltip player_id='906109' first='Herva' last='Brutus']' MaxPreps page, it's easy to think she'd be a forward with the monster double-double she's averaging. watching her live unveils a promising wing like skill set. She's a quick decision maker who throws data around the court. The freshman is a focal point in most team's defensive gamelan and will produce. While being double-teamed against a stingy Dunnellon defense, she made the right play. When she had single coverage, she attacked her defender for paint touches and drew fouls on the way to the cup.

Tony'ah Boggs is a freshman with a high feel for the game. She shares ball handling duties with one of the premier guards in the state, [player_tooltip player_id='349387' first='Tatiana' last='Matthews'], and the offense doesn't wave when she takes over. Boggs has a tight handle, and the quickness needed to break down defenders and get deep paint touches. Once she's in the teeth of the defense, her vision and passing abilities takeover. She may be young but has the confidence to make plays in big moments. She's a feisty defender who shoots passing lanes, turns ball handlers, and forces turnovers in Dunnellon's half court trap.

[player_tooltip player_id='430279' first='Jamison' last='Cardwell'] is a highly skilled 5'10 guard. She has a creative handle and can chain moves together at full speed. Cardwell is a solid defender with the length and positional size to cover both guard spots. She's not afraid to get shots up but excels as a downhill scorer. The 2025 prospect is strong, with a physical frame that she uses to power through defenders. Her game allows her to get to the free throw line several times again. She has good court vision and accurately throws cross court passes and finds teammates in transition.

Aniya Hope is a long athletic 6' forward who gets up and down the floor. She has the ability to attack her defender in straight line drives with limited dribbles. Hope Flies around on defense and is One of the state's leading shot blocker. She's physical and aggressive on both ends of the floor, resulting in forced turnovers on one and a forceful presence in the paint on the floor. Hope is good on the boards but excels on the offensive glass and converts putbacks at a high rate. Skill wise, she's raw but plays with athleticism and a motor you can't teach.
