I’m always playing with numbers and situations and thinking ahead to Who’s Next which was one of the reasons I made my Saturday a trifecta, well a triple header because I wanted to see what’s in the pipeline for both and here ya go
CE KING
London Kidd (2026)
Kidd showed me a variety of positives and I commented after finding out her name that her bridges were not falling down. Her power off the dribble to score, as well as rebound and through touchdowns, were nice, yes she rebounded on both ends but her court vision in the set was also nice. She did a good job defending and has a good upside
Michayla Woodley (2026)
Woodley is one of those players that takes me back to yesteryear by doing things that you can’t teach and she showed me something I love to see and talk about and that is BATTLE for everything off the rim. Her “you won’t outwork me” mindset coupled with her upside will be valuable as she progresses on the court
Ceniyah Whithurst (2026)
Whithurst is a “long and athletic” guard and that too is the base. She does a good job defending “on the ball” baseline to baseline but she also did a good job guarding her man in the set. She plays within herself and understands how to get hers in the flow yet watching her go after loose balls on the floor play the passing lane as well as see the floor was nice
Summer Creek
Sydney Barras (2025)
Barrias and her pull-up jumper gave me some excitement during the club season yet her energy on both ends continues to shine as she also did a good job defensively, as well as made good decisions while seeing the floor
Trinity Powell (2025)
Powell also showed a nice pull-up jumper and knocked it down while being defended. She used a deceptive first step to take the defender off the dribble to score yet on the flip, she applied heat defensively. She also played the passing lane
Da”Niya Foster (2026)
Foster is “long and athletic” Yep, it’s still the base and she does a good job of not only hitting the boards on both ends but scoring around the basket. She uses her length nicely and that, coupled with her timing altered some shots
Makenlie Edwards (2026)
Edwards is also “long and athletic” with good timing and her blocking, deflecting, and altering shots plus her ability to react and recover on the defensive end was solid. She made some nice moves to get to the basket, she also saw the floor
Addison Martin Addison Martin 5'8" | CG Summer Creek | 2027 State TX (2027)
Martin is one of the top freshmen in Texas yet her upside is somewhat scary, not for me, but defenders. She’s explosive off the dribble, her body control is nice and she finishes strongly after contact. She also creates her shot under pressure, elevates on the jumper, and drops it with a hand in her face. Her on the ball pressure is also a plus
