Every prospect brings a unique skillset to the game, and impact the game on both ends of the floor. There’s a lot of talent in the pipeline in New York. Let’s take a look at the updates from around the state.
McManus has been making everything look easy this season with her scoring ability. McManus has developed her shot in the mid-range and is a much more confident ball handler, and its expanding her offensive skillset. She is fast, physical, tough, and confident with a smoothness to her game that is fun to watch. She loves to facilitate in the open floor or in half court sets to get easy buckets. Finds the lanes and threads it in her with power. She is a good rebounder and can guard multiple positions.
Dopp is one of the best shooters in the state and is climbing up the all time 3’s list in the history of New York sitting at 5th with 289. Fluid, quick release and mechanics with the ability to create her own shoot. Has limitless range and can spot up or create on the dribble to get a clean look. She attacks the basket and can finish with either hand.
Velez is another sharpshooter making the list. Velez is an elite spot up shooter with NBA range from the perimeter. Has good size and toughness to guard multiple positions. Looks for fastbreak opportunities to run the floor and find teammates. Plays good defense contesting shots on the perimeter and intercepting passes in half court sets.
Patnode is heading to play her college ball at LaSalle next season and fresh off scoring her 1000th career point. Patnode stands out with her interior scoring presence and ability to pass the ball. Patnode has elite footwork in the paint, rebounds the ball well on both ends of the floor, and can guard multiple positions to alter shots with her range as a defender. Plays tough and is confident with the ball in her hand.

Fox has been scoring at will and extremely efficient doing so. Fox has a knack for scoring the basketball. She is an interior force on the glass and her ability to alter shots against opponents. She plays her best when the ball is in motion and she can create offense for herself. Has great touch around the rim and knows how to will her way to the basket. She is heading to William + Mary next season to play her college ball.
