Ashlie Riley
The Fort Atkinson wing was one of the kids who popped the most when I was going through some players from around the state. She’s a multi-sport kid but has the size at 6-0 and the athleticism that allows her to excel on both ends of the floor. Not many kids can high-point rebounds like Riley and shoot it at a high percentage from the three-point line.
Avery Glenz Avery Glenz 5'10" | PF Eleva Strum | 2027 WI
Eleva-Strum got a massive boost when Avery Glenz Avery Glenz 5'10" | PF Eleva Strum | 2027 WI walked in the door. There aren’t many kids in with the size, physicality, touch, and shooting that Glenz has, let alone at small schools around the state. She’ll be among the most challenging kids to prepare for at every small school. Her ability to create off the dribble and cut makes her incredibly frustrating, and that isn’t even mentioning kids big and athletic enough to stay in front of her whenever Glenz changes directions. She’s also one of the smoothest operators with the ball in her hands.
Maddison Dalrymple
The Winter forward has an excellent motor, which leads to Dalrymple earning her team extra points and possessions. The 6-0 athlete has a quick enough first step to beat her matchup going left or right and does a solid job using a floater to finish without going to the basket. I also like her awareness when she’s defending around the basket. She plays solid help-side defense and uses her length and athleticism to deter the offense from attempting shots around the basket. I’m not sure what her ceiling is, but her motor makes her a kid I’m eager to develop with more minutes under their belt. There is something there.
Addison Stallings
There isn’t a kid I found digging through film that made me smile as much as Stallings. She’s an absolute joy to watch. Her shooting is elite, and she can stretch the floor beyond the three-point line. Right now, she’s the focal point of the Comets offense, which is understandable. However, if she wants to play at the next level, she could take her game to another level by playing with better kids because, with time and space, she’ll punish the defense every time. I’ll probably have to make the short trip down I-43 to see her this season.
