Timpanogos vs. Murray
Ella will need to have another double-digit scoring night if they want to sneak one past Murray. She has the ability and she can score from different areas on the floor. She will need to score from deep and she will also need to attack the glass better than she has all season.
Murray has a really good lead scorer but Charlotte is a secondary scorer and with a team likely keying on her she will have a lot of scoring opportunities. She can score off the bounce and on the move. Look for her to have some open looks in a catch and shoot looks.
Provo vs. Pine View
Fale has the strength and the IQ to get into the paint and do work. When she is patient and uses her footwork she can score at will. She will be good for 10 and 10 if she can get all of that down in Round 1. She is going to be tough to stop.
Highlights
Gustin might need to have another 25+ type of game and a 10+ rebound performance in this one and she is all but capable. She can shoot from deep and she can attack the rim. She could help her team pull an upset win.
Orem vs. Mountain Crest
Rassmusen will need to go crazy from deep and she can. She could really make a big difference if she could get 4 to 5 to fall for her. Look for her to hunt for some shots and that could be a big game changer for Orem.
Jones needs to assert herself early and often and she could make this game a really tough battle. She will likely see a double come here and there and if she can find cutters and open players she will help her team blow this one out of the water.
Highlights
Bear River vs. Mountain View
Big time stat stuffer that could go off at state. She is a stock riser and a new name to know in the class of 2025. Look for her to score in double-digits and also rack up 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists as well. Her impact on the game is crucial.
Really solid young player in the Class of 2026 and her size and skills could really be an issue as she is a matchup problem. She is a bigger guard that does damage out in the perimeter and she is capable of going for 20+. Keep an eye on her over at Mountain View.
Highlights
Dixie vs. Park City
She might just bee too much to handle in round 1. Her stat line rivals many of the the players on the boys team. She is a double-double machine.
Hall will need to channel her game earlier this season where she scored 20 points. If she can get to that level again she could be a big time impact player. In this game.
Tooele vs. Crimson Cliffs
One of the best players in the Class of 2027 and she can really take over a game. This is her time to shine and she is likely to be the focal point of the defense. This will be an opportunity to make the right play and get her teammates open looks.
Whitaker has been a player that has done some really good things all season. She is playing at a high level and she can really clean that glass up. If she can get to double digits and rebound she might be the difference maker.
Jordan vs. Stansbury
Jacobson plays with a high motor and she can get after it on both ends of the ball. Her ability to rebound is special as she knows how to track the ball and be in the right place at the right time. She is going to play a huge part in this game.
Jensen will need a big time performance and a 15 + and 5+ rebounding night. Look for her to be a very big impact player ina really even matchup.
Desert Hills vs. Uintah
Hansen has been on a roll these past few games so look for her to continue to light things up in the 1st round. She has some next level talent.
White has been on a tear and she is a big time hooper that has been stat stuffing and lighting up the scoreboard. She has the ability to really score the ball early and break this game wide open.
