One of the more productive defensive prospects in the state, Mitchell is a tall frontcourt athlete who changes opponent habits. Effective getting hands up to contest inside and out, she is one of the more influential defenders available. She lands in the top-10 within all of 6A for blocks and rebounds per game, no easy feat.
Kessinger has essentially averaged a double double throughout her four years at Akron, although she brought a particularly unique style of play at her size. Capable of attacking the rim off the bounce, she brings a blend of skill and size that is not often found among prospects at her height.
Leach has provided a steady impact inside the arc with title contender Cherry Creek. Highly active contesting shots around the rim, she does well to both get a hand up and take away space versus her immediate opponent. Leach has helped stabilize this group’s second unit, providing impactful rebounding and rim protection when given an opportunity. Although from limited volume, Leach has shown upside as a spot-up shooter beyond the arc throughout previous seasons, certainly an area to monitor after graduating.
A comfortable rim roller, Roscoe has been effective playing off of Mountain Vista’s backcourt duo to assert herself within her role. A physically imposing frontcourt prospect, the senior has averaged a double double for her second straight season. Her constant motor is without a doubt her greatest asset, creating plenty of second chance opportunities for shotmakers. Highlights
Isenbart’s well rounded shotmaking and playmaking have made her one of the more dependable forwards in this class. Up past 40% on three point attempts, she brings a refined perimeter game alongside her above average passing abilities. Effective finding teammates after drawing in help, Isenbart has been prepared for the next play countless times.
Ritzmann has brought consistent activity inside the arc with Pomona. Leveraging her height advantage to instigate opponents in the paint, the forward has taken a notable leap in production since her previous season. Putting up a double double for her third straight season, her motor is about as dependable as anyone in the state. Another area of impact has come from her defensive activity, getting into position for the help side early both for contests and deflections of passes.
Garnering offers from multiple division 3 programs, Tolar is another high motor athlete who puts her body on the line for rebounds and shot contests. She has played a valuable role with Fairview’s presence in the paint. Her intensity has translated to defending the paint, getting into the help side early to leverage her height advantage on contests.
Wood has shown value through her defensive versatility, effectively matching up 2-4 in part thanks to her acute awareness on help side defense.
