Here are some that I hadn’t seen
Madison Hall-5’8 SG (Humble) 2026
Hall left a lasting first impression however I may have caught her with her high school squad earlier this season and missed her doing wraparound coverage. She’s a long and athletic guard who reacts well on defense plus she has good timing and plays the passing lane. Her first step is also a plus as she attacks off the dribble
Tianna Hayden-5’8 G (Cy Creek) 2025
Hayden was another “long and athletic” guard, which I failed to mention above is also the base. She read the floor and played the passing lane, she did a good job defending both in the set as well as baseline to baseline and she attacked strongly from multiple angles, she had nice body control on her finishes, after contact. Her pull-up jumper both in the set and in transition also looked good
Aniyah Bevly-5’10 G/F (Aldine) 2024
Bevly is yet another “long and athletic” guard that showed me a lot of intangibles in a short span of time like her playing the passing lane, something I love seeing players do yet her on the ball defense, both in the full court as well as in the halfcourt was equally impressive. She has good timing and blocked, altered, and (or) deflected shots plus she goes after the ball off the rim. Her first step is nice, so is her body control off the dribble to attack and her pull-up jumper is nice
Aniya Morman -5’8 G (Oak Ridge) 2025
Morman may be one of the breakout players in the organization as she stays under control and plays within herself yet she’s heady, has good court vision, and understands how to get hers “in the flow”. She also understands something else, positioning and this helps her outrebound taller players but she also does a good job on the defensive end
