DBL-DBL: 23 points & 15 rebounds in a 45-41 (W) @ La Cueva
The All-State Guard (2023) went 8/17 overall from the field for the Matadors for a game-high 23 points. The 2025 PG was absolutely phenomenal rebounding the ball, solidifying Sandia’s ability to get stops on the defensive end with the most important component, securing the rebound. The Matadors had 32 rebounds a team, Sydney had 15(!) herself.

18 points 5 rebounds 3 assists & 3 steals in a 45-41 (L) vs Sandia
The Air Force signee, led all players in FGA (22) finishing with a team-high 18 points. The All-State Guard did all she could to get the Bears past the Matadors but ultimately fell just short. Despite the outcome, Love once again had a solid outing, leading the Bears in points, assists and steals.

DBL-DBL: 12 points & 14 rebounds in a 45-41 (L) vs Sandia
Regardless of the outcome at home vs Sandia, Dyer still managed to record double-digit points and rebounds. The length and athleticism allows for Dyer to get all the way to the cup and secure missed shots off the rim. The 5A All-State & All-Metro Forward (2023) is fifth in Double-Doubles with nine.
Kaelynn Ashley Kaelynn Ashley 5'10" | PF Albuquerque | 2026 State NM | Albuquerque High
16 points (FG: 6/11) 6 rebounds in a 60-27 (W) vs Manzano
Kaelynn led the team in points, rebounds and field goal attempts vs the Monarchs. The Bulldogs (16-4, 4-0) are in the midst of an eight-game winning streak. Ashley is a high-energy player who can get double-digit points and rebounds. Kaelynn is currently fourth among the 2026 class with four Double-Doubles.
Caitlin Turnbow Caitlin Turnbow 5'10" | PF Organ Mountain | 2024 State NM | Organ Mountain
DBL-DBL: 19 points & 12 rebounds in a 46-27 (W) vs Centennial
Possessing a combination of size and skill allows for Turnbow to score in a variety of ways for the Knights (14-6, 3-1). Caitlin can post up, shoot jumpers along the baseline and elbow areas, and collect weak-side put-backs on the offensive glass. The Fort Lewis signee is currently third in Double-Doubles with 11.

16 points 7 rebounds 5 assists in a 60-18 (W) vs Loving & 24 points 7 rebounds 5 assists 6 steal in a 51-34 (W) vs Gateway Christian
When the Cardinals (10-10, 2-1) need a bucket or a play to be made, it is often Rodriguez who steps up and provides. No longer reliant upon others to get her looks, Aleena is now a shot-creator and tough shot-maker both inside the arc and well beyond it.

Hope Giddings Hope Giddings 5'8" | SG Sandia | 2025 State NM | Sandia
The All-Metro Guard (3rd Team 2023) entered the game vs Piedra Vista, just three points shy (997) of the 1K milestone. The 5’9″ junior finished the game with 18 points, going 9/11 from the field with three assists. Hope is at her best when able to operate in the midrange/low block areas as she is comfortable using the glass to score. Giddings plays at her pace, has good footwork, and runs the floor well, forcing opposing teams to get back in transition. Can also step out and connect from behind the arc. In 78 games played, Giddings has totaled 1015 points, an average of 13 per game, with a career field-goal percentage of 39 for the Matadors.

The 5’10” senior Point-Forward is a multi-level scorer who knows how to get to her spots. A major reason why Johnson, is a Two-Time 3A All-State Selection: First Team (2022 & 2023) for the Eagles. So far this season (23-24), Aniya has helped Navajo Prep to a 12-8 (5-1) record.

The All-Metro Forward (2nd Team 2023) is a multi-positional player with good lateral quickness. Wright is comfortable switching out on the perimeter and guarding smaller backcourt players. Audri has a High-IQ, anticipates well and has active hands. On the offensive side, Audri can score off the bounce, and is a willing passer. Wright has appeared in 77 games for the Matadors, registering six Double-Doubles. Averaging 9.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.2 steals per game, the 5’10” junior is a career 38 percent shooter from the field which includes 97 3PM at a 31 percent clip.
