Harolyn Castillo – Pittsfield (2026)
It was a rather comfortable victory fro the No. 1 seeded Pittsfield Generals in the first round, a near 40-point win at that. Three players finished in double-figures in the win, but sophomore Harolyn Castillo certainly stood out on the day, knocking down a pair of three-pointers as she matched teammate Dezerea Powell with a game-high 15 points. Worked well inside and outside and sunk a plethora of shots around the offensive end.
Olivia Machon – Frontier (2025)
Machon has very much stayed under-the-radar this season for Frontier, but in what ended up being a relatively close game against Pope Francis, she provided a big perimeter outburst. She finished with a career-high 15 points, hitting a career-high five three-pointers to do so. It wasn’t enough in the end, but it’s a great sign for the junior in what was a breakout game for her.
Maeve Tumel – Pope Francis (2026)
Pope Francis came into Monday’s quarterfinals as the underdog, the lower seed in a 4/5 matchup, but the Cardinals dominated when it counted. It’s easy to do so when you have a 23-point day from your sophomore star to help a 22-5 run in the fourth quarter that put away the game for good. Oh, and she set a new career-high in scoring with that effort, knocking down a pair of threes and five free throws as well.
Zahara Kibodya-Wilson – Springfield International Charter (2029)
Springfield International Charter built up a 28-point lead going into the fourth quarter and took care of business in the quarters, but it had a seventh grader leading the charge. Kibodya-Wilson has fared exceptionally well in her first season on varsity as the middle schooler is playing well above her years. Take Monday’s performance, a 17-point day, getting all of her points inside the perimeter or at the line. That’s quality production on all levels.
Kayley Downie – Easthampton (2024)
Downie wasn’t able to power Easthampton to a win on Monday, but she was easily the star of the show for the Eagles. The senior guard finished with 15 points, five rebounds and six assists, accounting for nearly half of the Eagles’ scoring herself. Really solid senior campaign for her that’s resulted in an impressive and career-high 12.6 PPG through 18 games played.
Kate Phillips – South Hadley (2027)
The No. 2 seed took care of business on Monday, jumping out to a big first quarter lead and never looking back from there. Phillips definitely played a big part in the win overall, posting her second-straight double-figure scoring performance, her sixth of the season, as she scored 12 points. The guard/forward showcased her versatility on the floor and continues to be a key cog for the Tigers.
