Here is the battle setup, Etiwanda vs Sierra Canyon in the CIFSS Open Girls Division is gonna be a war on the floor for all to see. We have both these teams in our Preseason Rankings and I want to see if my predictions in this division is gonna come true. I have Etiwanda as the TRUE #1 team in my Top 25 in California, Sierra Canyon was not to far behind in my edition. We will have to see who comes alive and takes over the game, will be a defensive struggle in my opinion. Use Code SMALL30 to get 30% Off the Price.

[player_tooltip player_id='761239' first='Grace' last='Knox'] - Etiwanda

Grace single handley put Etiwanda on her back in this game and willed her team to the win, she rebounded, she shot it, she blocked shots and was a team leader on the floor. She finished the game as the leading scorer with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 3 steals. This kid made a major statement as well as her team, we are not to be messed with and we are the defending champs, put some respect on that. This kid is a walking double-double..

Mykelle Richards - Etiwanda

Mykelle shots the lights out of the in this game, she was (2-2) from the arc and ended the game with 13 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. She surprised me in this game, showing me a high IQ for the game and a much more developed skillset to display to the world, her stroke from the arc was money and she did not hesitate to get to the rim if the opportunity presented itself. We were very impressed with her performance in this game.

[player_tooltip player_id='393740' first='Aliyahna' last='Morris'] - Etiwanda

Aliyahna always does her thing on the floor, she is the legitimate lead point guard on this team and there is no questions she is the one for the primary job all the time. She has improved all around on her jumper from beyond the arc, she has fine tuned her pullup midrange shot from the stripe and has always had a nice floater in the paint over the bigs. She sits down and plays defense and works really hard at stopping her opponent, but the best thing about her game is her high IQ and her determination to make her team win.

[player_tooltip player_id='104797' first='Kennedy' last='Smith'] - Etiwanda

Kennedy did not have a big game for her team, but she did have a solid game, she did all the little things that a leader does, that is rebound, get putbacks and she is also becoming a great passer. She has the size for the next level and the strength and speed, she will step into USC ready to be on the floor in our opinion, she is capable of being Mrs. Basketball this year, had that conversation in the gym this weekend, I say it is a LOCK, what about you guys..

[player_tooltip player_id='558892' first='Jerzy' last='Robinson'] - Sierra Canyon

Jerzy put up the numbers this game, but had a rough time getting her team to get the win, she showed us her all around game, the handles are nice, the physicality is great adn she is a bruiser on the floor. She is a bully if I would say so and has learned how to use that to her advantage on the floor and in the paint as a big guard. She is more of a guard/forward to me, which she will translate into the next level, but she will create mismatches on the floor as that type of guard. She defends and can also rebound and start the transition break, hitting teammates for easy scores.

MacKenly Randolph - Sierra Canyon

MacKenley did all she could do in this game, but they came up short, she pushed the ball off the rebound, she got deflections and steals in this game, she scored when the opportunity showed itself, but it was not enough. She had a good performance, but the highlight for her this weekend was her commitment to join her teammate at Louisville. MacKenly translates a little better to me at the next level, cause she will be a three or four that can face up from outside and do some damage, the mismatch will definitely be there, she can step out and shoot it like her father could.
