Allie Turner Allie Turner 5'8" | CG John Burroughs | 2024 State MO was tremendous in her final game.
Turner has always performed well in March dating back to her sophomore season. It was no surprise to see her play so well on the biggest stage. Her 24 points led the game and were loud. She had it going early making nearly all her threes and mid-range pull ups. It was an amazing shooting display. Gonzaga is getting a top notch lead guard who will fit it up and get others involved. She’s a dynamic scorer that finds her spots on the floor. If they awarded an MVP of the game it would’ve been Turner.
Two championships in three seasons for Jacob Yorg.
Yorg has lifted this program to new heights. The talent level, development, and composure in big games is different from the past at John Burroughs. This is a school that has seen tons of recent success in the boys and girls basketball programs. The school has taken this sport seriously and Yorg has proved he’s a championship coach. Championship will only help sustain this level of success. The Bombers have become a top destination for talent across the St. Louis metro area entering high school.
Lutheran St. Charles still has a bright future.

Speiser is the current Missouri Player of the Year. The 6’2 guard gives this team a chance vs. very best competition in the Midwest. They have all the pieces needed to get back to this point again next season. Expect for Lutheran St. Charles to be regarded as a Top 5 team in the state regardless of class.
With seniors graduating it’s time for Moriyah Douglass Moriyah Douglass 6'3" | PF John Burroughs | 2026 State MO to become the star.
The 2026 forward is a unique talent and one that colleges will begin recruiting heavily over the next few months. At 6’3 she can play on the wing or operate as a forward. She rebounds at a high level and will make the three. Prospects with her height, mobility, and skill are uncommon. Expect for her to continue to rise on national boards and become a highly sought after player in 2026. This team will be centered around her and a number of 2025s next season.
