Here's a look at standouts from those semifinal games.

[player_tooltip player_id='624398' first='Nevaeh' last='Caffey'] (Incarnate Word): Caffey is a candidate for Miss Basketball and showed why in this game vs. Rock Bridge. The junior guard was connecting on nearly all of her three point attempts. A speedy, defensive minded PG who will be an excellent player at Indiana. She continues to improve the parts of her game that aren't as good as others. This has led to her becoming quite possibly the most complete guard in the state. Caffey scored 22 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='366817' first='Zoe' last='Best'] (Incarnate Word): Best was her usual self in this game. Great on the defensive end with powerful slashing to compliment. A player who gives this team a physical edge on both sides of the ball. She's a premier defender and somebody that will make the pull-up mid-range jumper. She's a high upside signing for SEMO at the next level.

Malia Chievous (Rock Bridge): Chievous had a number of timely buckets in this game. She was aggressive vs. pressure and handled it well. A guard who sees the entire floor and will make smooth moves to the basket. She had a number of buckets on floaters and layups. She's best attaching the rim. The 2025 prospect has been a key piece to winning all season long and makes impact plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='254699' first='Kya' last='Johnson'] (Kickapoo): Making it to a state final is not surprising when you have players such as Johnson. She's the ultimate winner and somebody who plays with a very high basketball IQ. The way she communicates, steps into charges, and controls the game is impressive. She was a prescenes on the glass and made timely buckets. Her energy is contagious on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='303495' first='Mikayla' last='Pilley'] (Kickapoo): Pilley is your prototypical guard prospect. A sharpshooter who can score in bunches and play with athleticism in the open floor. She had a game high 18 points in this game and made a difference from the opening tip-off. Her talent jumps out at people watching the game. Defensively she's a player who's going to create turnovers and deflections. A two-way prospect who should receive increased college interest.
