As public school basketball was concluding its season in March, so were non-public schools across New England. The New England Preparatory School Athletic Council had its championships finish up at the beginning of the month, spread out over five classifications. On Friday, however, the NEPSAC released its Players of the Year, something we will discuss in detail below.

Class AA: [player_tooltip player_id='269345' first='Ahnay' last='Adams'] - G, Tilton School (2024)

This choice was a no-brainer. Now a three-time Gatorade Player of the Year, [player_tooltip player_id='269345' first='Ahnay' last='Adams'] is simply that girl. She's her to the fullest extent, showcasing her prowess on the floor as she scored more than 500 points along with four double-doubles and a triple-double. Adams consistently has shown herself to be one of the best backcourt options on the East Coast and has done nothing short of dazzle during games.

Class A: [player_tooltip player_id='296653' first='Ke'iara' last='Odume'] - G, Loomis Chaffee (2024)

From arguably the best overall player in New Hampshire in recent years to one of the best shooters in Connecticut, we head to [player_tooltip player_id='296653' first='Ke'iara' last='Odume']. We're not sugarcoating that claim either because she shot over 42 percent from three this past season, not to mention 51+ percent from the field and 80 percent from the line. Odume was known for her shooting and really stepped up her game to the next level as a senior.

Class B: [player_tooltip player_id='285164' first='Camdyn' last='Nelson'] - G, St. Luke's (2025)

Staying in Connecticut, we head to [player_tooltip player_id='285164' first='Camdyn' last='Nelson'], the future Syracuse standout who has very much balled out after making her college commitment public as a junior. She's more than earned her spot on playing for a future Division I team, showcasing solid success as a shooter. However, she's made her mark on the defensive end, regarded as one of the better perimeter defenders in New England without a doubt.

Class C: [player_tooltip player_id='330790' first='Mackenzie' last='Mori'] - F/G Hamden Hall (2025)

The junior class was getting plenty of love from the NEPSAC in these Player of the Year selections as [player_tooltip player_id='330790' first='Mackenzie' last='Mori'] took home the honor for Class C. A jack of all trades seemingly on the floor, Mori has shown plenty of versatility due to her size. She's able to score from every level and quite a few spots on the floor. Her defense has shown to be effective and efficient, just like her shooting, not needing too many shots to put up numbers.

Class D: [player_tooltip player_id='383132' first='Eva' last='Giannini'] - Watkinson School (2025)

We end this off with yet another junior and an exciting prospect to follow next season. Giannini averaged 23 points per game this season, becoming a member of the 1000 point club while consistently producing for Watkinson School. She's also been a great facilitator with the ball. Look no further than her passing stats, averaging six assists a game this past season.
